GREENSBORO — Scott Darren Smith, 40, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012 from injuries as a result of an auto accident.

A Celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, 4 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.

Scott was charismatic and fun. He always had a positive attitude and a smile on his face. He lived with a grateful outlook on life and never took for granted any precious moment he could spend with his family and friends. He was extremely talented in the arts and enjoyed painting and drawing portraits. How fortunate his family and close friends are to have known such a wonderful person, even if our time together was not long enough.

Scott is survived by his parents, Roger and Judy Smith; sister, Kara Dawson and husband R.J. Dawson; two nieces, Ramsey and Elle Dawson and the love of his life, Chrissy Jarman Smith.

The family will receive friends following the service at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel.
