EDEN — Calvin T. Garner, 63, died March 7, 2013. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at Perry-Spencer Memorial Chapel in Eden. Burial will be in Eden Garden Cemetery. He was a native of Rockingham County, a retired employee of Unifi and Perry-Spencer Funeral Home.
He is survived by his wife, Hessie Garner of the home, two daughters, Folanda Brown of Eden, Ansonya Tucker of Greensboro, two brothers, Ernest Garner Jr. and Charles Garner of Greensboro, two sisters, Rosetta Garner of Greensboro, Linda Wherry of Sumter, SC, six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
