FLORENCE, SC — Wanda Kennon Eden, 65, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, at McLeod Hospice House after an extended illness.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, March 10, 2013, at the Church at Sandhurst. The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 1 p.m., Sunday, at the church prior to the service.
Mrs. Eden was born in Eden, North Carolina, a daughter of Jesse Kennon and the late Doris Jones Kennon. She spent most of her life in Raleigh, NC, where she was an interior decorator with Classic Coverings. A resident of Florence for the past six years, she was a member of Church at Sandhurst.
Survivors, in addition to her father of Eden, NC, include her husband, Bruce H. Eden, of the home; a son, Richard Minter of Charlotte, NC; a daughter, Leslie Olsen of Florence; two step-daughters, Denise Murray of Wake Forest, NC, and Michelle Reagan of Youngsville, NC; a step-son, Jeff Eden, of Raleigh, NC; three sisters, Judy Wood, Linda Kallam, and Diane Guest, all of Eden, NC; and six grandchildren, Jason Eden of Washington, DC; Parker Eden of Wilmington, NC; Joshua Reagan and Dustin Reagan of Youngsville, NC; and Nicholas Olsen and Lauren Olsen of Florence, SC.
