GREENSBORO Mr. George Rico Drugman, 92, passed away on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at Countryside Manor in Stokesdale, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 10, at the Forbis & Dick Brooke Chapel in Stokesdale.
Mr. Drugman was born in New York, New York, on July 6, 1920, the son of the late Ulrico and Marguerite Grosjean Drugman. He was retired from Florida Power and Light, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) in West Palm Beach, Florida. He moved from New York to West Palm Beach, Florida in 1945; married in 1947; and lived there until 2008. He moved from Florida to Stokesdale, North Carolina four years ago to be closer to his family.
Surviving are his son David Drugman, and his wife Penny, of Stokesdale, a granddaughter Sarah Jessica Arena, Esq. of Washington, DC, and numerous nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews in Michigan, Florida and California. He was preceded in death by his wife, 'Pat' Iteal Brown Drugman in 1988.
The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home on Sunday.
