GREENSBORO — Mr. Howard Eugene Herrin, 78, passed away Friday, February 1, 2013 at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.
Funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2013 at 2 p.m. at George Brothers Funeral Service, 803 Greenhaven Dr., Greensboro, NC 27406 with Pastor Dallas George officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Howard was a loving husband and father who enjoyed bowling, camping, and fishing in his younger days.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Herrin; son, Clyde E. Herrin (Debbie), of Kernersville; daughter, Tracy Herrin Barnes, of High Point; sister, Edith Lee (Pete), of Charlotte; niece, Elaine Gantt and her children, John (Mary) and David, of Leesville, SC; and his cousin, Shirley Skeen (Dale), of Trinity.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 3, 2013 at George Brothers Funeral Service.
