REIDSVILLE — Thelma Gwynn Talley, 92, 1719 S. Scales St. died Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Rockingham Co.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday January 26, 2013 in Citty Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
A native of Chester, SC, she was a daughter of the late Sidney E. and Sally Shreve Gwynn and she had lived in Reidsville most of her life. She was a home maker, a member of First Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by her husband: James T. Talley.
Surviving are sons: James Talley (Edna) of Reidsville; Paul Talley (Susan) of Reidsville; & Donald Talley of Houston, TX; daughters: Jean McGehee (Frank) of Reidsville, Ann T. Price of Reidsville, & Diane T. Allen of Reidsville; brother: Joseph Gwynn of High Point; sisters: Grace G. Ross of Greensboro & Doris g. Watkins of Reidsville; 10 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren.
The family will see friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 25, 2013 at Citty Funeral Home and at other times they will be at the home of her daughters: Jean T. McGehee 1719 S.
