BURLINGTON — Mrs. Barbara A. Sellman, 61, of 2015 Sinclair Trace, Burlington died at her residence on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 10:50 p.m.
A native of Cleveland, OH, she was the wife of David G. Sellman, who survives and the daughter of Edward Vincent Deranek and Sophie Theresa Zalewski Deranek, both deceased. She was a retired Benefits Coordinator for Asheboro City Schools. Barbara was a member of The Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter and the NCAEOP.
In addition to her husband of Burlington, survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Gregory and Nancy Sellman of Morrisville and Christopher and Jamie Sellman of Cary; four grandkids, Mackenzie, Zachary, Mia and Mollie; a sister, Cathie Deranek Sutton of Coldwater, MI; niece, Jennifer Allen of Lima, OH; and nephew, Brian Cook of Cleveland, OH.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, January 26, 2013 at 11 a.m. by Rev. Adam Shoemaker with the family receiving friends following the service.
