MADISON — Cameron Richmond Martin, 25, of 1482 Martin Farm Road, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, January 24, 2013, at Mt. Hermon United Methodist Church with Reverend Richard Patzfahl officiating.

Cameron was born June 30, 1987, in Rockingham County, to Tim and Crystal R. Martin. He was a graduate of North Stokes High School, RCC and DCCC and worked for NCDOT. Cameron's organs were donated to Carolina Donor Services.

He was preceded in death by grandfathers, Billy Richmond and Byron Martin.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by sister, Tracie M Robertson (David), of Danbury; nephews, Abram and Ian Robertson; fiancée, Sydney Dobbelstein, of Lawsonville; grandmothers, Bobbye Richmond of Ruffin and Pauline Martin of Madison and many aunts, uncles and cousins who love him very much.

The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m., Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Colonial Funeral Home and all other times at the home.

The family requests that memorials be made to The Brain Aneurysm Foundation, 269 Hanover Street, Building 3, Hanover, MA 02339.

Special thanks to Cameron's caregiver at Vidant Medical Center, Aaron.
