DANVILLE, VA — Sylvia Watson Gibbs, 85, of Danville, VA died January 14, 2013.
She was predeceased by her husband John Currie Gibbs and is survived by her three children; Sally Vick and husband H. Russell Vick of Greensboro, NC, Susan Cumbey and husband James Lloyd Cumbey of Richmond, VA, and John C. Gibbs III of Winston-Salem, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
