GREENSBORO — Frances Hall Baker, 85, of Greensboro died Monday evening, January 14, 2013 at her home.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013 at George Brothers Funeral Service with Pastor Darrel Ost officiating. Burial will follow at Guilford Memorial Park.
Frances was born in Anderson, South Carolina in 1927 to the late Thomas Hall and Bonnie Connor Hall. Frances and her family have lived in Greensboro since 1930. She was a very hard working and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family and God
Frances was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-one years, John Lloyd Baker and brothers, Donald Hall and Tom Hall.
Frances is survived by her son, Chris Baker of Greensboro; daughter, Lynn Baker Morse and her husband, Tom of Raleigh; two granddaughters, April Baker Phillips and Amy Baker Johnson; one great-grandson, Ryan Michael Phillips; and brother, Charles Hall of Fayetteville, NC.
The family will receive friends from 12 p.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
