GREENSBORO — Donald Lee Cox, 50, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2013.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 7 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry N. Elm Chapel with Rev. Keith Newell and Rev. Cecil Donahue participating. The family will greet friends from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. prior to the service.

Donald was born November 22, 1962 to the late James F. and Betty Ann Hughes Cox in Raleigh, NC. He was a Retired U.S. Navy veteran having served twenty years. He later worked as a service technician at AT&T.

He was a member of Pleasant Union United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, woodworking and working with his hands. He loved spending time with his family and his rescue dog, Leeroy.

He was predeceased by his parents. Donald is survived by his wife of seventeen years, Kimberly Brochu Cox; children, Shelby Cox and Alexander Cox all of the home; brother James Cox and wife Rita of Climax.
