EDEN — Mrs. Eunice Gilley Gauldin, 79, of 721 E. Warren Avenue, passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Morehead Nursing Center.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Ridge-View Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Gauldin was born in Rockingham County on March 18, 1933, a daughter of Tobe and Susan Keaton Gilley, both deceased. She was retired from Fieldcrest Mills.
She is survived by her husband Luther Clay "Luke" Gauldin of the home; her son, Walter "W.J." Mounce and wife Cindy of Chatham City; her sister, Jackie Barker of Eden; her brother-in-law, Ed Gauldin and wife Adele of Reidsville; her sisters-in-law, Dora Sipe of Browns Summit and Vera Pruitt of Stoneville; and her granddaughter, Susan Elvin and husband Kevin of Hillsborough.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Boone & Cooke, Inc. Funeral Home and other times at the residence.
