CYNTHIA CAROLIN WILLIAMS CHIVERS

GREENSBORO — Cynthia Carolin Williams Chivers passed January 5, 2013. Born in South Belmar, NJ and a graduate of Hampton Institute, she taught Physical Education and Dance at Texas, A&T, and Bennett Colleges, and later became a Guidance Counselor at Gillespie Junior High and Allen Middle Schools in Greensboro. Her interests included sports, music, traveling, and photography.

Her funeral will be Noon Saturday January 12 (viewing at 11 a.m.) at Hargett, 905 East Market Street. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greensboro chapter of the Hampton University Alumni Association in memory of Cynthia Williams Chivers: Hampton University Alumni President; 4193 Birch Hammock Drive; Greensboro, NC 27401.
