KATIE VICTORIA CALDERON

OAK RIDGE — Miss Katie Victoria Calderon, a sweet soul of 10 years, returned to be with her Heavenly Father January 8, 2012 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro. In spite of her struggles with life-long health issues, Katie shared her kindred spirit with everyone she met and was loved by all. She was born on June 8, 2002 in Guilford County to Eleuterio "Dale" and Martha Rodriguez Calderon. Katie attended Hanes Inman School in Jamestown. She was cherished by her parents and family and in her short life on earth, Katie touched the lives of many.

In addition to her parents, surviving are one brother, Manuel Calderon; two sisters Fabiola and Viviana Calderon; maternal grandparents, Librada Martinez and ConcePcion Rodriguez; paternal grandparents, Antonia Martinez and Miguel Calderon; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 11, 2012 at Hayworth-Miller Kernersville Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
