KERNERSVILLE — Mrs. Jane H. "Miss Jane" Morris, 81 of South Cherry St. Kernersville went home to be with her Lord and Savior January 7, 2013 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.

Jane was born in Davidson County a daughter of the late Numa Hinkle and Geneva Williard Hinkle and she was raised by her grandparents, Joe R. Williard and Pathelia Smith Williard. She retired from R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1998 and was a member of First Christian Church. She was married to Paul Lee Morris who preceded her in death September 25, 2008. Miss Jane loved to visit and spend time with her friends in downtown Kernersville.

Surviving are her daughter, Sue M. Young and husband Ronnie of Wallburg; one son, Craig Morris and wife Marty of Oak Ridge; two sister-in-laws, Thelma Hinkle of Midway and Mary M. Hyde of Mocksville; five grandchildren, Billy Morris and wife Diann, Jeremy Morris, Scott Young and wife Alicia, Sherri Jones and husband Jeff and Allen Young and wife Stephanie. Seven great-grandchildren, Alex and Anna Young, Tori and Linsey Byrd, Cody, Austin and Dylan Morris; step great- grandchildren, Melany Jones, Sammy Jones and Isaiah Smith.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2013 at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Pete Kunkle and Rev. Wayne Branch officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Winston Salem. Mrs. Morris will remain at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home in Wallburg until taken to Pierce-Jefferson Funeral Home in Kernersville where the family will receive friends Wednesday, January 9, 2013 from 6 until 8 p.m.

The family would like to extend a very special Thanks to Kernersville Medical Center and Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home for the special care given to their Mother.
