FREMONT — Mr. James Brooks Ballance, 72, of Fremont, NC, died on December 27, 2012 in Greenville, NC, at Vidant Medical Center after several months of declining health.
Mr. Ballance was employed by the Greensboro City Schools (NC) from August 1962 to June 1992 serving Greenboro Grimsley High School as an English teacher, assistant principal, coach, and head faculty athletic trainer.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2010, at Shackleford-Howell Funeral Home in Fremont, NC. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, following the service.
