MARNA MARGARET SWEELEY

SOUTHERN PINES — Marna Margaret Sweeley age 83 died Wednesday in Southern Pines. She was a member of Southern Pines United Methodist Church in Southern Pines, NC.

Born in Macon County, IL. she was the daughter of the late Walter William Hogan and Mary Josephine Connaghn. She was the widow of the late Robert Lee Sweeley Sr. She is survived by two daughters Beth S. Cribb and husband Glenn of Whiteville, NC. Dr. Sally S. Miller and husband Dr. David of Greensboro, NC. One son Thomas L. Sweeley and wife Susan of Southern Pines, NC. seven grandchildren and three step grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son Robert Lee Sweeley Jr. one grandson Casey Garrett Cribb and two brothers.

Graveside services will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, Tabor City by the Rev. Thomas L. Sweeley.

Family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
