BROWNS SUMMIT — Mr. Richard Calvin Gordon, Sr., 85, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2012, at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Lakeview Memorial Park.
Mr. Gordon was born in Guilford County. He was retired from Air Products and Chemical Company.
He was predeceased by his brother, Lawrence Gordon and sister, Ruby Waynick.
He is survived by children, Susan Booth (Douglas Booth) of Sophia and Richard C. Gordon, Jr. of Greensboro; two sisters, Mittie G. Mullis of Browns Summit and Betty Apple of Gibsonville; two grandchildren, Ian and Noah Booth.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lee's Chapel United Methodist Church, 2303 Lee's Chapel Road, Greensboro, NC 27405.
