MAYODAN — Mae Williams Wall Case, 88, went home to be with the Lord Monday, evening December 10, 2012, at Home Away from Home Assisted Living in Richmond, VA.

Mae's Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Ray Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Jerry Foley officiating. Interment will follow at Sardis Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

A Rockingham County native, Mae was born June 26, 1924, the daughter of Jesse Ray Williams and Minnie Vernor Clark Williams. She was a former member of Comer's Chapel Baptist Church and later on joined Dan Valley Baptist Church. Mae retired from Burlington Industries with over 30 years service.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, James Sandy Wall; second husband, Daniel Walter Case; three brothers, Fred Williams, William J. "Bill" Williams and Earl Williams.

Mae is survived by six children, James Wall (Malinda) of Madison, Steven R. Wall of Mayodan, Diane Schabinger (Bruce) of Richmond, VA, Charles Case of Mayodan, Arthur Case of Garner and Myrtle Mae Case Collins (Sammy) of Eden; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Mary Wall Kallam (Robert) and Nancy Wall Bowen; very special niece, Frances Case Comer (Chester); many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2012, at Ray Funeral Home.
