LIBERTY — Jeane Lambert Garrett, beloved wife of 67 years to the late William Howard Garrett, and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed into the heavenly kingdom on November 18, 2012 in Guilford County at the age of 85.

She is survived by her four sons and spouses: Thomas Lee and Janice, Ricky Alan and Cathy, Jonathan Reed and Tina, and Joseph Ryan; Seven grandchildren and spouses; Stephanie and Doug, Stacie and Jon, Ashley and Jason, Nicholas and Christine, Justin, Nathan and Ryan. Five great-grandchildren; Garrett, Madison, Ethan, Audrey and Kohl. She is also survived by five sisters and three brothers.

Jeane's loving parents, Elvern and Clara Lambert are rejoicing with her in Heaven.

She was born in the mill village of Alamance in Alamance County on May 5, 1927. Jeane retired from KR Hosiery Corp. after 45 years of service. She was an active member of Mt. Pleasant UMC in Kimesville, where she sang in the choir.

Memorial services will be held at Sunday, November 25, 2012 at Mt. Pleasant UMC, 4400 Alamance Church Rd., Kimesville.
