MADISON — Mr. Wilbert Joyner, 72, died November 16, 2012. Funeral services will be held 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Hayes Chapel United Methodist Church in Madison where he was a member. Burial will be in Eden Gardens Cemetery. He was a native of Rockingham County and was self-employed. He is survived by three daughters, Pearl Joyner-Foddrell (William) and Lisa Joyner Hairston both of Madison, Rosalyn Joyner of Charlotte, two stepchildren, Alexandria Young of Atlanta, GA, Joseph Grier of Charlotte, brother, Gene Joyner (Ann) of Madison, sisters, Florence Chandler, Lonnie Florence, Pearl Joyner-Lee (Dwight) and the Rev. Sadie Joyner-Milton all of Madison, Hazel Joyner-Smith of Nashville, TN, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
