JULIAN — Mrs. Rebecca C. Paschal, 85, died Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at her Julian residence.
A daughter of the late Ralph and Joy Curtis, Mrs. Paschal was born April 6, 1927. On June 30 1945, Mrs. Paschal married Earl Z. Paschal who preceded her in death in 2011.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Andy and sisters, Julia Ettman, Martha Favinger, Sue Cole, Betty House and Dorothy Lee Curtis. Mrs. Paschal is survived by her son, Earl S. "Bo" Paschal and wife Adonna of Trinity; one grandson, Ethan W. Paschal and wife Stacy of Thomasville; sister, Frances Walter of Bellingham, Washington; brother, Bill Curtis of Semi Valley, California and brother and sister-in-law, Will and Sylvia Paschal of Pleasant Garden.
Funeral services will be at 3:00 pm Friday, November 9, 2012 at Hanes Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Keik,th Newell. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.
The family would like to express gratitude to Theresa and Paul Evans, dedicated and self-sacrificing caregivers whom Mrs. Paschal grew to love as family. The family also thanks neighbors, Anne Butler, Patricia Shoffner, and Bill and Ferne Dickie for their acts of kindness and steadfast assistance during the past several years, as well as members of Pleasant Union United Methodist Church.
