REIDSVILLE — Brenda Kay Collins Ware, 60, formerly of 1110 Maiden Lane, died on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral s ervices will be held 2 p.m. on Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Gaffney officiating. The burial will follow at Evergreen Memory Gardens.
Brenda was a native of Rockingham County and the daughter of the late, Gilbert and Nannie Roberts Collins. She was a homemaker including her love for cooking, flowers and family. She was always a faithful servant and caregiver to anyone that needed her help. She was a longtime member of New Heights Baptist Church. Along with her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank C. Ware; her brother, G.L. Collins and her sister, Deborah Collins.
She is survived by her son, Bradley C. Ware and wife, Susan of Reidsville; her daughter, Amber Dawn Ware of Hardeeville, SC; her grandchildren, Brittany Renee Ware, Chelsea Ann Ware, Brooke Meghan Ware, Bradley C. Ware, Jr. and Lacey Marie Singletary; her sisters, Margaret Pruitt, Alice Mason and husband, John all of Reidsville, Gladys Walker of Summerfield; Jean Ross and husband, Doug of Reidsville and a large extended family.
The family will receive friends 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. day, October 6 at Wilkerson Funeral Home, and other times at Gladys Walker's home (1657 Brown Road).
