GREENSBORO — Lois Marie Alexander Goode was born on February 13, 1921 in Knoxville, Tennessee to the late Ervin and Mary Alexander and later raised by her Father and Step-mother Elizabeth.
She was married to Lt. Col. William Goode (deceased) and had four sons, Bill (deceased), Jack, Greg, and Chris as well as Grand and Great Grandsons. Lois and Bill traveled the world and much of the United States before settling in Greensboro. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by A&T SU, and Bennett College. She passed on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at Beacon Place and memories of her kindness and beautiful smile will always be cherished.
Services will be as follows at St. James United Presbyterian Church at 820 Ross Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27406 on Saturday September 22. 12 p.m. Viewing, 1 p.m. Visitation, 1:30 p.m. Funeral.
