GREENSBORO Marie Brennan Bullard, 91, died at Hospice Home of High Point, on September 7, 2012. Marie was born on April 15, 1921 to Walter C. Brennan and Grace L. Daymon in Port Chester, N.Y. She came to Greensboro to attend and graduate from Women's College. Marie was an enthusiastic traveler, bridge player and also enjoyed reading and dancing. She retired from UNCG's Inter-Library Loan Department in 1975. Afterwards, she and her husband Ralph relocated to Morehead City for eight years. Her proudest achievement was soloing a single-engine airplane. She is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Grace Brennan; brother, Mortimer C. Brennan; and husband, Ralph Peyton Bullard. She is survived by her daughters, Louise Bullard of the home; Sarah Bullard (Fidel Davila, husband) of High Point, N.C., and five beloved grand-dogs.
The family will plan a private service at a later date. The family would like to thank Hospice of the Piedmont's home care services and Hospice Home of High Point staff for their unwavering support and care. We could not have done this without you!
