RALEIGH — Jacqueline D. Marshall, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 7, 2012, at the Oaks of Mayview in Raleigh NC, a day in which God invited a new angel into heaven. She was born on July 14, 1945, in Greensboro, beloved daughter of the late Luther L. Daniels and Nellie Cantrell Purcell.
Jackie was employed at SAS Institute in Cary for 25 years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and friend. She knew how to put a smile on your face, with her quick wit and practical jokes. She enjoyed the mountains, working in her garden, spending time with family and travelling with her friends, "the beach bunnies." She will always be loved and remembered.
Jackie is survived by her devoted husband and friend, Ron Marshall; her dear son, Chad Marshall and his wife Joy; her sisters, Jan Parrish and husband Joe, Fran Phillips and husband Randy, and Sally Greene and husband Raymond; her brothers, Gary and Dave Daniels; and by her sister-in-law, Diana Oakley and husband, Jimmy.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 10, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m., at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh NC. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. in the morning, on Saturday, at the funeral home. Graveside service will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
