GREENSBORO — Mrs. Mildred (Nene) Dick Ratliff, 59 of Greensboro went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
Visitation will be held at Holmes Grove United Methodist Church (HGUMC) on Sunday, August 5 from 7 p.m. until 8 p.m.
She was a life-long, dedicated member of HGUMC, where she served as lay leader and Youth choir director. She was also a member of the Inspirational choir and United Methodist Women. She constantly cared, nurtured and provided for family and friends. She enjoyed shopping and traveling.
Mildred was born to Lucille and the late Walter Dick, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Ratliff. Those left to cherish her memory include her mother, Lucille Dick of Greensboro; son, Ronald Davis, II and his wife, Keisha of Las Cruces, NM; daughter, Lisa Davis of Charlotte; grandchildren Ronald (Tre), Miles and Lauren Davis; siblings Pauline Attaway and her husband, Gerald, Joan Dick, Sharon Moore, and Walter Dick Jr. and his wife, Sheila (all of Greensboro); and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at HGUMC on Monday, August 6 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Carolina Biblical Gardens.
