ALEXANDRIA, VA —
Our beloved Sarah "Louise" Lyle, age 80, departed this life on July 16, 2012 in Alexandria, VA after a valiant battle with progressive supranuclear palsy. Louise was born on November 12, 1931 to the late Ruth and Jacob Beck in Welcome, NC. She was the second child of six. She was a loving wife and mother. Louise made a difference in many lives as a hardworking business woman who owned and ran three Hallmark stores in Greensboro and Burlington, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Lyle, and her brother, Bobby Beck. She leaves to mourn her three sons Grant 'Regg' Lyle, Todd Lyle and Kent Lyle; one daughter, Sherree Lang; five grandchildren, Todd, Nicole, Nathan, Jason and Natalie; two great-grandchildren, Caden and Nico; three brothers, David, Clifton, and Ronnie; one sister, Ruby and a host of other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at Westminister Gardens Cemetery at 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro, NC 27410 on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Foundation for PSP.
