
HIGH POINT Sharon Lee Shuman, 62, of High Point, NC, formerly of Allentown, PA, died on June 16, 2012 after a six-month battle with cancer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronald Kowalski of High Point; her mother Arlene Vroman, wife of Ola E. Vroman, Spring Hill, FL; sisters Christine E. Hahn, wife of Dennis Hahn, Bethlehem, PA, and Robyn E. Graver, wife of Robert Graver, Bath, PA; brother Alan D. Shuman and wife Shannon, Bethlehem, PA; brother-in-law Gary Kowalski, Shillington, PA; and one niece and one nephew.
She was predeceased by her brother Robert D. Shuman, sister Nadine M. Shuman, and father Robert D. Shuman.
She considered the family of her uncle William D. Potter of Whidbey Island, WA, a second family, with whom she loved traveling the great American West.
She was a dedicated employee of Mack Trucks for more than 35 years, beginning with Mack Financial Corporation and ending in the CIO's office. She led development of Mack's first website, which went on to win numerous national and international awards, including being named one of the country's best B2B websites in 2010.
She was born in Bethlehem, PA, and graduated from Hellertown-Lower Saucon High School in 1967, and from the College of St. Francis de Sales, Center Valley, PA, in 1988.
In addition to her family and her work, she loved animals and travel.
