STOKESDALE — Mr. David Allen Jones, 58, departed from this life on Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at his home.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Hanes-Lineberry Vanstory Chapel.
David was born in Panama City, Florida on August 6, 1953 and graduated from Smith High School. He later attended Wake Forest University however, he was a huge Volunteer Fan. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Summerfield. He was a loving and devoted husband, son, father, grandfather, and brother. He was also an avid animal lover. David was preceded in death by his father, Joey Jones.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 26 years, Teresa P. Jones of the home; mother, Jeannine Hutsell Jones; daughter, Chrystal L. Jones; step-daughter, Stephanie Hodgin; step-son, Scott Hodgin; brother, Larry Jones; and his grandson, David Joseph Jones.
The family will receive friends following the memorial service on Saturday at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
