SOPHIA — Mrs. Ruby Frick Hall, age 78, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2012 in Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.
Mrs. Hall was born on October 17, 1933 in Anson County, NC, daughter of the late Roy Lee Frick and Gathy Ada Forman Frick . She was an Inspector at Caraway Furniture and retired in 1991, after 25 years of service. Ruby was a member of Whispering Hope Baptist Church in High Point, she loved her Lord and going to church. Ruby enjoyed cooking, baking and shopping. In addition to her parents preceding her in death was a granddaughter, Glenna Ann "Sissy" Haithcock, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Monroe Hall , her children, Darlene Morton (Charles) of Trinity , Rose Ward (Cecil) of Greensboro, Marshall Evans of Sophia, , and, Joy Lambeth (Eric) of Farmer, her sisters, Geraldine Evans of Reidsville, Margie Harvey of Tampa, Florida, and Mildred Bennett of Anderson, SC. Also surviving are 14 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 10 great- great grandchildren.
A service to celebrate Ruby's life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale, with Brother Ronnie Tucker and Pastor Jeff Morgan officiating. Interment will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
