GREENBSORO — Myrdell Meadows Medlin passed away on Wednesday November 4, 2009 at Moses Cone Hospice Unit after a valiant two year battle with cancer.

She was born December 4, 1922, in Forsyth County, a daughter of Neumie F. and Effie Butner Meadows. She spent most of her life in Greensboro and was a member of Trinity Church. She was married to William H. "Bill" Medlin, Jr. on May 21, 1946. Mrs. Medlin retired from Vick Manufacturing Company.

Funeral services will be held at Trinity Church on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Bowden and Pastor Olaf van de Klashorst officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Medlin is survived by her son, Ronald Medlin and wife Kathy of Greensboro and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Katherine Medlin.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Building Fund of Trinity Church, 5200 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27410.
