GREENSBORO — William Keith Ryals, 58, passed away Monday, December 24, 2012 at Wesley Long Hospital.

An 11 a.m. funeral service will be held Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park.

Keith was born in Greensboro, NC on November 17, 1954 to Rachel Crist Ryals and the late Willie F. Ryals, Jr. He graduated from Page High School and attended Martin Community College where he studied Forestry. He was employed for several years as a lumber inspector with Dixie Furniture. He later became parts manager with Greensboro Auto Auction where he was employed until his illness. Keith enjoyed deer hunting and had a strong passion and knowledge of cars. He was a loving and devoted son, brother and father who had a great sense of humor and a strong faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his father, Willie F. Ryals, Jr., as well as his step-father, James H. Ray, and an aunt, Carolyn Ray. He is also preceded in death by his former wife, Kim Keiger Ryals Oxidine.

Survivors include his mother, Rachel Crist Ryals Ray, as well as his daughter, Jenna Leigh Ryals of High Point. Other survivors include his brother, Jimmy Ray and wife, Cathy, of Charlotte, NC. Also surviving is a brother-in-law, Chris Keiger as well as a niece, Stacey Morrow, and a nephew, Tyler Ray.

The family will receive friends at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.forbisanddick.com.
