GREENSBORO — William Keith Rhodes of Greensboro, NC, died at Moses Cone Hospital on Wednesday, February 13, 2013. A man of many talents, Keith was a true renaissance man who shared his gifts with his communities as a pastor, a counselor, an artist, and a writer of fiction and musicals, and friend.
Keith is survived by his children, Alan and Amber Rhodes, their mother Mackie Rhodes, his sisters Paula Swint, Wilma Nichols, Kelly Hanes, and their families, and his mother Gladys Y. Rhodes. He was predeceased by his father, A. Wilson Rhodes, Sr. and brother, Albert Rhodes, Jr.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2013, at First Baptist Church Greensboro.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in memoriam to organizations that promote compassion, faith, love and creativity.
