HIGH POINT- Mr. William H. "Bill" Allen, 75, of High Point died at his residence on Saturday, December 23, 2006.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Deep River Friends Cemetery conducted by Chaplin Jeanette S. Robertson. Mr. Allen will remain at Sechrest Funeral Service, 1301 East Lexington Avenue, where the family will receive friends Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Mr. Allen was the son of Alta Parks and Samuel Nolan Allen, Sr. He graduated from High Point High School in 1951. Mr. Allen was the President of Allen Appraisal Company and had served as a tax re-evaluator and FHA appraiser across the State of North Carolina during his long career.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Samuel Nolan Allen, Jr., Benjamin Newton Allen and sisters, Mildred Allen Stewart and Doris Allen Rake.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ingram Allen of the home; daughter, Karen L. Allen of Murrells Inlet, S.C.; brothers, Wayman P. Allen of Burnsville, Harvey A. Allen of Columbia, S.C.; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
