RANDLEMAN — William Chester Pierce, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 7, 2013 at the Golden Living At Starmount Home in Greensboro.

Chester was born in McLeansville on September 1, 1929 to the late Isaac J Pierce and Roxie Lewis. Chester lived his life in the Randleman, Greensboro, McLeansville area and was a member of Grace Baptist Church. He retired after 44 years of work from Proctor & Gamble (formerly Vick's Chemical), Anderson Patrol, and Butler Trailer.

The family will receive visitors during a visitation service to be held from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at The George Brothers Funeral Service located at 803 Greenhaven Dr, Greensboro, NC 27406.

A Graveside Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday on March 11, 2013 at The Westminster Gardens Cemetery located at 3601 Whitehurst Rd, Greensboro, NC 27410.

Chester is survived by his three sons, Keith W Pierce of Virginia, Kenneth M. Pierce of Randleman, and Kelly R. Pierce of Hawaii.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church, 435 NC Hwy 62 W., Randleman, NC 27317.
