GREENSBORO - A memorial service for W. M. "Moe" Moore, 85, formerly of Greensboro will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Friendly Avenue Church of Christ.
Mr. Moore passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Alabama but lived in Greensboro for 65 years. His funeral and interment with military honors was held in Alabama on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Moore and Florence Tapscott Moore; a sister, Marveline Speegle and a brother, C.H. Moore.
He is survived by two daughters, Brenda (Steve) Mullinix and Cathy (Chuck) Adams; longtime friend, Jimmy Bundy four grandchildren, Melissa (David) Bryan, Siri Mullinix, Cindy (Aaron) Galloway and Erica Adams; four great grandchildren, Luke Bryan, Grayson Bryan, Jackson Galloway and Riggs Galloway; two sisters, Marie Cason and Lurline Jennings; a brother, Troy Moore; nieces and nephews, Bobby, Sue, Ricky, Connie, Steve, Patty, Lu Jean, Dona, Kay, Lynn, Eddie, Wayne and Robert.
