GREENSBORO — Mrs. Virginia Lee Spencer Edwards, 92, passed away Sunday morning, February 17, 2013 at her home.
Funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2 p.m. at Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Vance Lowe officiating. Burial will follow the service at Guilford Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy James Edwards, Sr.; one son, Roy James Edwards, Jr; parents, James and Emma Spencer; two brothers; and one sister.
Virginia was a member of Muirs Chapel United Methodist Church and a member of Lee's Bible Class.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Silver (Tim), of Pleasant Garden; daughter, Jill Casey (Rob), of Greensboro; daughter in law, Donna Edwards, of Greensboro; sister, Doris Meece (Charlie), of Greensboro; brother, Walt Spencer, of Greensboro; sister, Dora McCallops (Bob), of Syracuse, NY; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church parlor.
