GREENSBORO — Vicky Cockerham, 56, gently passed into eternity on Tuesday, March 12, 2013.
Vicky was born August 17, 1956 in Greensboro, NC. She will be remembered for her keen sense of humor, generosity, and compassion toward others.
Vicky was preceded in death by her father, Donald Lewis Cockerham.
She is survived by her mother, Marlene Cockerham; sister, Sherrie Nelson (Joe); niece, Sallie Grubb (Kevin); nephews, Travis Nelson (Chantel) and Carl Nelson; and great-nieces and nephews; Mirabella and Jaxen Grubb and Tyson, Gabrielle, and Roman Nelson.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013, at Forbis and Dick North Elm Street Chapel. The family will receive friends Saturday, March 16, 2013, at 10 a.m., one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Westminster Gardens Cemetery.
