STOKESDALE — Tina Renee Kiser Lawson of Stokesdale passed away Thursday evening, June 7, 2012, lovingly surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Bethel United Methodist Church with Dr. Roy Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Tina accepted Christ as her Savior at Central Baptist Church in Oak Ridge at the age of thirteen. After her marriage to Randy in June 1990, she and her family were active at Oak Level Baptist Church in Stokesdale. Tina supremely loved and was devoted to her husband and children. She home-schooled her children until the youngest started kindergarten and then returned to school herself to attain her degree as a Certified Medical Assistant. Tina was employed by Eagle Gastroenterology until she became ill.

Surviving her in love are her husband, Randy and children, Nikki, Cody, Kayla and Krista, all of the home, parents, Randall and Kay Kiser of Oak Ridge, father and mother in law George and Mary Lawson of Stokesdale, and her extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at Forbis & Dick Brooke Chapel in Stokesdale.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the Moses Cone ICU, Department 6700, and Palliative Care nurses and nurse technicians for their excellent care of Tina and her family while at the hospital and at the home. We especially thank Dr. William Outlaw, Dr. James Edwards and Dr. Robert Fried their for personal and watchful care of Tina.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro, 2500 Summit Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27405, or to the Good Samaritan Ministry, P.O. Box 202, Stokesdale, NC 27357.
