GREENSBORO — Ruth Earlene Crawford "Gran Gran" Robinson, 92, passed away Friday, February 15, 2013 at her home. Born July 21, 1920, in Canton, NC, Ruth was a lifelong resident of Greensboro, NC.
Funeral services will be held at George Brothers Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at 2 p.m., conducted by Pastor Kemper Upchurch, Jr. and Minister Betty White. Graveside service will follow at Guilford Memorial Park in Jamestown, NC.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Loretta Crawford; husband, Caesar Cone "Rob" Robinson; sisters, Lynn Saunders, Gladys White, and Louise Cox; and son, Alan Jeffrey Robinson. She is survived by daughter-in-law, Ilene Robinson Massey; daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Phil Ayala; son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Kathy Robinson; grandson, Jeff and wife Jeanie Robinson; granddaughter, Angeni and husband Eric Miller; granddaughter Nicole and husband Diego Torres; great-grandchildren, Sierra Smith, Gabriella Smith, Noah Robinson, and Liam Robinson.
The family will receive friends and family at George Brothers Funeral Service in Greensboro, NC on Monday, February 18, 2013 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
