WILMINGTON — Ruth B. Applegate, 96 of Wilmington passed away March 15, 2013.
A former resident of Greensboro and Virginia Beach, she was preceded in death by husband Edward L. Applegate. Both were retired educators in Virginia Beach.
She is survived by her son Charles E. Applegate and wife Suzanne of Cunningham, TN, grandsons Ira Applegate of Richmond, VA, Aaron Applegate his wife Gina and great granddaughter Peyton of Burlington, MA, and nephew Eric Vann wife Mary and family of Kure Beach as well as a host of other relatives.
A graveside service will be conducted at New Garden Cemetery, Greensboro at 10 a.m. on March 19, 2013.
