TULSA, OK — Robert "Bob" Leikam died peacefully, surrounded by his family, the morning of February 20, 2013.

A native of Tulsa, Bob graduated from Will Rogers High School, attended Oklahoma Baptist University where he met his wife of nearly 50 years, Lois White. They moved to Tulsa where he completed his Political Science degree at TU. Following graduation, he founded one of the first executive search firms in the city, Tulsa Personnel Service. In 1958 Bob was elected Water Commissioner for the City of Tulsa. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church and was in high demand for his leadership skills & financial acumen. He served on numerous finance & building committees through the years and spearheaded the Baptist Children's Home capital campaign with entertainer Roy Clark. After selling Tulsa Personnel in the 70s he became a full time real estate investor. After the death of his wife, Lois, Bob met JoAnne Oliver and they were married in 2000. Charter member of the Summit Club, Petroleum Club, Tulsa Men's Club. He and JoAnne enjoyed traveling with friends and attended First Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife: JoAnne, three children: Robbie McCracken (Bryan) and Kip Leikam (Patricia) all of Tulsa and Lisa Bullock (William) of Greensboro, NC. Four grandchildren: Meagan McCracken, Robert Leikam (Christian), Ian McCracken and Alex Leikam (fiancee Lauren Dove), Stepchildren: Jade Graham & Frederick Brian Latimer. Step Grandchildren: Chloe & Karsten Graham. JoAnne's mother: Marge Oliver and his faithful goldendoodle, Roxie.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 26 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Tulsa, OK.

Memorial donations can be made to the Parent Child Center of Tulsa or First Presbyterian Church Music Program.
