GREENSBORO - Rena Lawson Newton passed away on January 18, 2013.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wade C. Newton, daughters Melissa Harris (Mark), Mary Sapp (Robin), adopted daughter Annette Henley, grandchildren Adrian Harris, Emily Wammock (PJ), Elliott Harris & Eric Sapp, and great grandsons Daniel, Jacob, Isaac, Adam & Eli Wammock, sisters Lois Large of Kingsport, TN & Louise Peltier of Knoxville, TN.
The family will receive friends, Sunday, January 20 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at 5418 Ropley Drive.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greensboro Urban Ministry or Hospice of Greensboro.
