REIDSVILLE — Rebecca Lumley "Becky" Kennedy, 70, of 278 Speedway Dr. Reidsville, N.C. went to be with the Lord Saturday February 2, 2013 at Annie Penn Hospital.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday February 6, 2013 at Thompsonville Baptist Church (2033 NC Hwy 87 Reidsville, NC) with Rev. Mike Campbell, Rev. Ron Tuck, and Rev. Jimmy Cain officiating.
A native of Wilkes, Co. NC, she was a daughter of the late Albert Taylor and Lillie Lumley and had lived in Rockingham County for the past 35 years. She was a retired employee of Unifi, Inc. and was active with her children's and grandchildren's school activities. Becky was also preceded in death by her grandmother: Mary Elizabeth Frazier.
Surviving: husband : Leroy Kennedy of the home, sons: Timothy Kennedy (Michelle) of Reidsville, NC and Bryan Kennedy (Annette) of Reidsville, NC, daughter: Mary Jane Perdue (Jason) of Eden, NC, grandchildren: Meagen Kennedy, Brandon Perdue, Ian Perdue, Bryanna Kennedy, B. W. Kennedy, and Raegen Kennedy.
The family will see friends 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Tuesday February 5, 2013 at Thompsonville Baptist Church and at other times will be at the residence.
