GREENSBORO — Raymona Sherwood, born May 20, 1951, passed away March 1, 2013.
She is predeceased by parents, Raymond Terry Slayton Sr. and Ruby Margaret Allen; brothers, Dickie and Vergil Slayton.
Survivors include her husband of 29 years, Donald Paul Sherwood; her brother, Terry Slayton Jr.; two step-sons and their wives, Scott and Denise Sherwood and Aaron and Andrea Sherwood and their families; and a very special couple, Jr and Fran Harrell.
Mr. Sherwood would like to thank everyone who helped him and his "wife" in their fight against cancer. God bless you all!
Ms. Mona was very proud of her Indian heritage. She was such a beautiful person, bye baby.
