GREENSBORO — Princess Delores (Redbone) Brown, 62, passed away February 13, 2013. After battling a prolonged illness for twenty months, she peacefully went to be with the Lord while being surrounded by her loving family.

Princess was born in Greensboro, NC on September 6, 1950 to Willie Bell Brown & Wilbert Brown, who preceded her in death. She lived there during her childhood and graduated from Dudley High School in 1968.

Princess worked at L. Richardson and Bennett College for many years until she retired. She was an active member of Hayes Memorial United Holiness Church. She enjoyed gardening and cooking.

Princess is survived by husband, Raymond Sawyer; by daugther, Princess Brown; three sons, Raymond L. Brown, Reginald T. Sawyer, Ronald N. Sawyer; two brothers, Wilbert Brown (Rose), Wilton Brown (Julia); two sisters, Debra Brown, Beverly Brown; and a host of family members and friends.

Viewing will be held on Monday, February 18 at 1 p.m. at Allen and Associates Mortuary.
