GREENSBORO — Patricia Talley Ashby, 61, a lifelong resident of Greensboro died Sunday July 17, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Hospital.
Patricia was born April 17, 1950 in Greensboro, the daughter of Lonnie and Gretchen Long Talley. She was a graduate of Smith High School and was a former employee with B & B Curb Market. Patricia was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, "Buddy" Talley.
Surviving are one daughter, Melinda O'Byrne with whom she lived of Pleasant Garden; one son, Brandon Ashby of Graham; two sisters, Donna Bowie and husband Scott of Greensboro, Diane Gallimore and husband Winfred of Greensboro and four grandchildren, Bo and Katie O'Byrne and Connie and Joshua Ashby.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. in the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel conducted by the Reverend Jesse Bledsoe. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
