GREENSBORO - Michael Franklin Stutts, 60, of Greensboro, died Saturday, March 2, 2013, at his home.
Michael graduated from North Moore High School in Robbins, NC; the Atlanta School of Fashion Design, and Leon's Beauty School. He was a loyal employee with Leon's Style Salons for 37 years.
He was loved by his family, friends and co-workers. His many clients were his second family. He developed strong bonds and lasting friendships with them over the years.
Michael cherished his styling career, excelled in customer care and was a valued member of the Leon's family. He loved to cook, travel, collect antiques and garden and he adored his two dogs, "Henry and Barron".
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie O. Stutts and his father, Thurman C. Stutts. He is survived by a sister, Linda Stutts Fowler and her husband John, a brother, Jim Stutts and his wife, Pamela; two special nieces and nephews and eight grand nieces and nephews and countless friends.
A memorial service in his honor will be held Sunday afternoon, March 10 at 3:30 p.m. at Hanes Lineberry Funeral Home North Elm St. Online condolences may be made at www.haneslineberryfuneralhomes.com/
