GREENSBORO — Michael A. Hall, 66, formerly of Madison, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, at Beacon Place/Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012, at Woodland Cemetery in Madison with Reverend Dan Ramsey officiating.
Mike was born on October 25, 1945 in Stokes County, NC to the late Arthur Powell and Mary
Elizabeth Hamm Hall. He was a 1964 graduate of Pine Hall High School, graduated from Greensboro College and received his Masters from UNC-G. Mike was an educator in the Rockingham County School system for 30 years. He taught at Stoneville School and served as a teacher and then Administrator at Western Rockingham Middle School. Mike was a member of Madison United Methodist Church and he will always be remembered for his love of family and friends, his storytelling, reading, dancing, gourmet cooking and antiquing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law, James "Jim" Roberts.
He is survived by his wife, Cammie; son, Powell Cannon Hall of Greensboro; sister, Barbara Hall Roberts of Pine Hall and nephew, James Hall Roberts and wife, Jessica Icenhour-Roberts of King.
The family will receive friends immediately following the graveside service at the cemetery.
